Marina Barker

Dementia Champion

Hi my name is Marina

I started Marmalade Care because I believe that people should have the choice to be able to stay in their own homes for as long as possible.

The name Marmalade Care comes from a client I used to look after who became one of my greatest friends, he suffered with dementia

and he used to say  “I don’t know what’s going on it’s all marmalade”

I studied with the university of Tasmania,

understanding and preventing dementia.

levels 3,4 and 5 in health and social care.

level 5 advanced social care, and management

 end of life care,

nutrition and hydration.

Brain Trauma

Virtual dementia tour
